Sarah Bowen Gallery proudly presents B-SIDE, a group exhibition curated by Caroline Cox, with work by Meredith Allen, Mary Carlson, Matt Freedman*, Judith Page, Joyce Pensato, Tim Spelios*, and Jim Torok.

The songs on the b-side of a 45 record were typically more obscure than their A-Side counterpart; often they didn't conform stylistically to the latest album trends, and were generally less formulaic. On occasion they surfaced to become as big as, or bigger than, the A-side hit. This mutable relationship between A and B, between the refined and the unpredictable, is also particularly compelling in these seven artists' work.
